VFW Post 4108 and Auxiliary support veterans and their families in Central Oregon by various means:

• Provides a safe environment for veterans and their families to obtain assistance as needed.
• Provides financial relief to veteran families when needed
• Provides a food pantry for veterans and their families that need additional food
• Provides rehabilitation/physical assistance items (ie crutches, walkers, wheel chairs, etc.) to veterans and their families as needed
• Advocates for veterans at political and legislative meetings to ensure they receive earned benefits.
• Provides Military Honors for deceased veterans throughout Central Oregon
• Provides youth scholarships to local students and scouts.
• Provides Outstanding Teacher scholarship and veteran speakers in the classroom
• Provides safe Halloween party for veterans families with games, prizes and contests.
• Volunteers numerous hours of Community Service to help in the community.
• Provides activities at local elderly care homes.

Redmond Memorial Day Events

• The Post Honor Guard and members attend Memorial Day ceremonies at the Terrebonne Pioneer Cemetery and the Redmond Memorial Cemetery. Post/Auxiliary members are encouraged to attend with their families.

Redmond Fourth of July Parade

• The Post leads the 4th of July Parade down 6th street. All Post/Auxiliary members and families are welcome to be in the parade or ride the float.

Redmond Veterans Day Parade

• The Post leads the Veterans Day Parade down 6th street November 11th. All Post/Auxiliary members and families are welcome to be in the parade or ride the float. A chili feed is provided free to veterans and their families after at the Post.

Redmond Starlight Parade

• The Post leads the Starlight Parade down 6th street the Saturday after Thanksgiving. All Post/Auxiliary members and families are welcome to be in the parade or ride the float.
